Our Short Vacation to HAPITANAN BEACH RESORT

1...
One night before the fiesta of the City of Golden
Friendship, our circle of friends decided to have an out-of-town little
vacation rather than celebrate the busy city fiesta. We had a lot of choices
and that confused us which will be the place we would have an overnight stay
with but then one friend called that there is a cheap but presentable place to
have our vacation outside the city and that is Hapitanan Beach Resort in
Initao, Misamis Oriental.
So we contributed for our food and overnight stay in the
resort. We were so excited because it was the only time we had the same off
duties aside from it was the city fiesta.
One friend cooked the food while we were only chatting
about what the place looked like because it was our first time to be going
there for all the busy jobs that we have. While everyone was busy chatting I
told them that I would sleep since I have nothing to do. It’s time to have a
little recharge because we will have to go there at dawn so we won’t be caught
up in the city’s traffic.
Four o’clock in the morning I woke up and to my surprise,
my friends woke up earlier than me and I was like “What? Have you slept?” But
they said they did and they were just more excited than me, oh well.
So we got our things packed up in our friend’s pick-up
car and took pictures of ourselves. We were ready!
Then our friend drove at a high speed from the city to
Hapitanan Beach Resort and it only took us 30 minutes to reach there. Hapitanan
Beach Resort is situated in between Don Arc and Midway Beach Resorts in Initao.
When we got there, we were happy because our group was
the only one in the resort and the residents there went to Cagayan de Oro to
celebrate the fiesta. Yes! We can have more fun in the resort.
We set up the food we prepared the night before and paid
for the resort’s room priced at 1000 per room (price may change anytime) and we got 2 rooms because we were
slightly a big circle of friends.
We prayed for the food and had eaten first before we had
fun.
Then we took pictures at the neighboring resort, Don Arc.
We played games with the kids and acted like kids before
we swam in the clean and clear sea.
When it got hotter in the afternoon we decided to take a
break from the sun and did a karaoke showdown. The one who gets the highest
score will receive the price. We laugh out loud for the out-of-tune songs that
got higher score than those who sang their songs correctly. We drank some alcoholic
beverages but didn’t get drunk since we had to resume our swimming fun in the
late afternoon.
When the seawater was low in the late afternoon, we
decided to find some shells and starfishes. But what we found was a sea urchin.
Fortunately no one stepped on it so we brought it out of the sea and resumed
our swimming fun.
We exhausted ourselves in the sea by playing a lot and
swimming a lot while waiting for the sun to set.
Then after that we headed to the shore, watched the
sunset and washed up ourselves since it is dinner time. Yey!
Our day one ended with not a lot of activities since we
had fun but got exhausted. Only a little chatting and we put ourselves to sleep.
Day
2...
On our second day, we haven’t had a lot of activities but
spent a few hours playing on the beach and in the sea.
It was more of taking pictures of the beach’ view and
more people were already in the resort since it was the weekend.
We also took a group picture at Don Arc Resort and it was
free to do so even though we were checked in Hapitanan Resort.
Then we had pictures of ourselves along the beach and the
blue sea behind us.
This was our last activity then we packed up and went
home with a happy heart and great memory to treasure (so cheezy haha).
Overall it was a great experience. We had a lot of fun
and the service was good. The people were hospitable to us though it is innate
in us, Filipinos, to show hospitality to visitors coming our place and in this
case, we were the visitors so were showed hospitality.

cute babies playing since I haven’t finished uploading it in Youtube. This post
